Set within a tight site, the building needed to be expanded and modified for today’s library services. The solution required two separate additions to accommodate the adult and children’s multipurpose rooms. The dark interiors were enlivened by brightly painted, curvilinear walls and better lighting. Staff spaces and public areas were reconfigured to provide a more functional interior.
